An energetic, pragmatic, and passionate entrepreneur with extensive experience in building and scaling digital business models + managed two company exits in the last 20 years, including 4 years as the CFO at Foot Locker for the e-commerce business in Europe, then travelling around the world for more than 10 months.

Strategic view of what it takes to scale a startup in the SaaS, e-commerce, or Marketplace category. Particular experience in operations strategy (Finance, HR, Legal), scaling up companies with a product-market fit and creating and building high-performing (remote) teams.

Currently, CEO & Founder of nugrow, which is the leading boutique consultancy specialized in providing strategic & operative consulting alongside support and leadership to startups, scale-ups & grown-ups. Over the last 18 months, I was in several Interim CFO positions, where I was responsible for getting more than 90 Mio. € Venture capital money, which we raised.

Being active as a founder in today’s busy world can be an uphill battle. Everyone is increasingly aware they should sometimes hire a consultant, but finding the right one is often challenging.

What drives me:

Although I have been dealing with startups and building companies for around 25 years, as a child I never dreamed of being obsessed with entrepreneurship and especially founders. Today, this topic fascinates me because I see the huge potential in properly streamlined and visionary startups if they are managed professionally.

Right after school, I founded one of the biggest e-commerce retailers in Germany for shoes. Five years later, I sold 75% of the shares to one of the biggest retailers in Germany. And further 3 years later I did the exit to Foot Locker, the biggest shoe retailer in the world.
