After returning from my maternity leave, I transitioned to part-time work. Due to the timing of my maternity leave, I resumed my role as an Individual Contributor. Now I am responsible for:

- Spearheading the design solutions process from inception to execution.

- This involves collaborating directly with the Project Manager to identify opportunities, conducting research, implementing solutions that address both business and user needs, and utilizing KPIs to measure success.

- Prepare metrics dashboard in MIxpanel to monitor project success.

During my time as a product design manager, my responsibilities were:

Design system

- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive repository of design guidelines and systems, ensuring continuous updates to reflect evolving standards.

- Ensure that we conduct a monthly review of all components, assigning a dedicated designer to oversee the maintenance and updates of the design system repository.

- Work closely with engineers to ensure the continuous updating and standardization of components, aiming for at least AA accessibility compliance.

Design Team's Daily Management

- I collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout all phases of a new release, from initial concept development to final code implementation. Prepare the kickoff and prepare the timeline for designers

- I conduct several meetings to achieve alignment between team members. We have daily async updates in Slack and weekly feedback design sessions. Additionally, we hold a monthly retrospective meeting with all design team members to identify and resolve any issues.

- I implement design sprints (using Jira) to streamline our design processes and enhance implementation efficiency.

- To ensure effective communication between designers and stakeholders of diverse backgrounds, I have established various channels such as multiple Slack channels and regular meetings. These efforts aim to facilitate the identification of areas that need improvement and uncover opportunities for enhancement.

- I assist the design team in effectively running usability testing (UT) and research through Maze.

- I ensure that the design team is measuring the success of their project. Prepare dashboard and training in metrics tools such as Mixpanel, Satismeter, Hotjar and Clevertap

- I introduce design tools like Figma and Maze, utilizing Notion as a documentation tool.

- Conducting thorough evaluative user research and usability testing to pinpoint and define problems, as well as to assess feasibility. Define customer cohorts to ensure quality in the research

Leverage of the Design Team

- Align individual KPIs with global KPIs.

- I assisted the Product leaders in creating a Product Requirements Document (PRD). This ensured proper documentation and progress tracking.

- Conduct thorough assessments, track progress, and conduct interviews to recruit design talent for Cialfo.

- I conduct regular one-on-one interviews with each UX Designer to evaluate their performance, gathering Specific, Behavior-focused, and Impactful (SBI) feedback for precise assessment. This involves analyzing skill sets to identify areas for improvement and recognizing areas of success.

- I provide coaching and mentorship to the UX Designers on my team, aligning their skill sets with ongoing improvements and professional development goals.

I was responsible for the UX/UI for the mobile app. Leading the design for android and iOS apps for the Tienda Nube's admin app

I was the Manager of the merchant's admin. I was leading the design team to implement improvements and the design system for the merchant's administration page
