Mateus Messias Mendes

I help companies build, modernize, and maintain reliable software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and modern cloud technologies. Whether it's developing new applications, improving existing systems, or automating deployments, I focus on delivering clean, scalable, and maintainable solutions that create long-term value.

After graduating in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) with a final grade of 1.7, I worked on enterprise software projects for international clients in the automotive industry. My experience ranges from developing business-critical web applications to cloud infrastructure automation and DevOps.

Most recently, I worked as a Full-Stack Developer and IT Consultant, where I developed enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, SQL, and Oracle, while also working with AWS, Azure, Terraform, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation. I enjoy working across the entire software development lifecycle—from designing backend architectures and REST APIs to building intuitive frontends and deploying applications in the cloud.

Earlier in my career, I contributed to the development of an iOS mixed-reality application for BMW and worked on Artemis, the open-source online learning platform developed at TUM, where my bachelor's thesis focused on extending local version control and continuous integration systems.

I value clean code, clear communication, and close collaboration with clients and development teams. Thanks to my international background and fluency in German, English, and Portuguese, I communicate effectively in multicultural environments and adapt quickly to new technologies and business domains.
