Marc Römmelt

I am a Senior Software Engineer / Software Architect with my focus on complex TypeScript based Web-Applications.

For the last three years I am working as contractor for start-ups, helping them bring their solution to scalable, maintainable and secure level. This primarily means:

- (Re-)Writing majority of the application code to reach deadlinse

- Introducing solid CI / CD

- Introducing DevOps (Mature deployments, scalability, monitoring)

- Introducing design & development best practices (TDD, DDD, SOLID, strict internal standards)

- Training the team on new&existing technology

My last client was Fanzone.io, for which I took on the role as a technology lead. I guided the design of the system architecture and implemented it with the help of a team of ~5 developers. Fanzone.io is a fan-engagement platform for sports-fans that reached approx. 50.000 active users in the first year.

Currently, I am working with TheMakers.ai. As Team and Technology lead I am guiding the development of the tech team and the platform itself (which is still in the early stages). The platform consists of a swarm of micro-services which provide a wide range of procurement related services to food brands and manufacturers.
