Hi, nice to meet you.
My name is Katrin and I am a UI designer with a background of over 10 years in branding.

Due to this, I have a deep knowledge in communication and empathy with various national and international customers. In the project teams I led, I longed for design solutions that were tailored to their respective target group. That's why I know how to support a brand and strengthens its appearance. I have worked in agencies and on the corporate side – for national and international clients. This experience helps to provide an overall impression and know-how that not only focuses on the product, but also on the overall design of the brand in the market.

As a natural result, this took me to UI Design.​​​​​​​ Starting point of my work is my fascination to really understand users pain points and their needs. Diving into user interviews and user testing from early stage on is the essential to end up with product design that solves problems and help users to simplify their lives.

Defining the visual basement and appearance of medneo as professional brand: through defining standards, processes were simplified which saves company and their employees from wasting time and money.

1) With access to letters and presentation templates, employees complete their work faster and retain the brand guidelines

2) Signages of diagnostic centers can be planned and commissioned by anyone, as it is based on modular design system

3) Patients recognize the medical staff based on corporate fashion and therefore experience a professional examination environment

· Working with international clients (Triumph, Gore, Sandoz)

· The redesign underlines the visual consistency of the brands within the Gore Fabrics Division on all levels while keeping the globally known key assets GORE -TEX  and GORE -WINDSTOPPER  in terms of
their leading market position at the same time. Therefore the consumer could finally recognize all family members, which benefits from the two popular ones.

1) A styleguide representing the simplified brand architecture and reduced design elements on all touchpoints enables other agencies, partner etc. to integrate Gore Fabrics brands correctly and strengthen their awareness

2) All brands of Gore Fabrics Division are in line with using created Gore Headline font for headlines and a harmonious color range to individualized each of the brands.

3) Design systems of using same heights for badges that needs to be used from agencies/productioners all over, simplified working with CD and reduced sources of errors and prevents from lacking ledgibility.
