During September and October 2022, I worked as a freelance UX Designer for Issuu focused on making improvements to website pages. I focused primarily on the following: SaaS landing page optimization
• Analyzed heat maps of SaaS landing pages to drive insight into user behavior, specifically in regards to clicks and scrolling.
• Audited SaaS landing pages and delivered reports on areas for potential improvement to content, structure, and design to better meet users' needs.
• Delivered potential next steps and action items to increase sign ups for each audited page, including short term improvements (within current technical constraints of pages) and long term improvements to be added to product roadmap. Homepage redesign and user research
• Created a test plan and script to drive insight into user behavior on Issuu's homepage.
• Designed an MVP for a new homepage concept based on an internal mission team's hack idea.
• Recruited users and conducted interviews that focused on current homepage structure, users' understanding of how Issuu works, and the MVP homepage redesign.
• Analyzed user interview results and delivered reports with actionable items to improve the current homepage structure and inform updates of the homepage redesign MVP.
