Having worked as a software engineer, system administrator and DevOps engineer for 8+ years I love to build modern, scalable, secure and reliable infrastructure that meets also unusual technical and business requirements.
I feel at home on Linux, in the Kubernetes universe and the cloud (mostly AWS and OpenStack). Broad knowledge of network protocols, internet services and databases allow me to set up, operate and monitor complex service architectures and environments. I enable developer teams to test and deploy their own software by establishing automated CI/CD toolchains. In my work I combine modern tools and time-proven technologies with a focus on open-source and modern industry standards (i.e. Cloud Native Computing Foundation).
I enjoy finding pragmatic solutions which are reliable and can be understood and operated by others. I use “Infrastructure as Code” wherever possible, work with high accuracy and provide documentation and trainings to the team. This way my contributions will be long-term solutions for your projects even when I’m no longer part of it.
