Emmanuel Obasuyi

Emmanuel Obasuyi is a seasoned business analyst, product strategist, and entrepreneur with a proven track record of bridging data, technology, and healthcare. He is the Founder and CEO of Onye Inc., a healthcare technology startup focused on solving one of the industry's most persistent challenges: fragmented data exchange.

Through OnyeSync, Emmanuel developed a suite of APIs and managed cloud services that enable interoperability across leading electronic health record (EHR) systems, while also launching OnyeOne, a lightweight EHR platform with embedded fintech features that empowers providers and patients in emerging markets. Under his leadership, Onye has secured 40 healthcare facility users and built a growing international pipeline.

Beyond entrepreneurship, Emmanuel was a Senior Manager of Business Analysis at Centene, where he led analytics initiatives across Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace programs. His work has ranged from building predictive dashboards and statistical models to implementing natural language processing tools that transform contract management. Previously, he contributed to operational and product improvements at CommonSpirit Health, Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, leveraging his expertise in SQL, Python, Power BI, and data visualization to drive efficiency, compliance, and strategy.

Emmanuel also plays a key role in building communities and advancing representation in technology. As Co-Founder of AfricaTech NYC, he has grown a network of over 10,000 diaspora professionals, organized more than 34 networking mixers, and produced major panels with 500+ RSVPs, securing sponsors and partnerships that have made the initiative a hub for connection and professional development.

A graduate of Brandeis University's Heller School for Social Policy and Management with a Master of Science in Management and International Health, Emmanuel combines analytical rigor with entrepreneurial vision.
