My responsibilities include coordinating shipping intermodal transport for on-time and efficient deliveries, managing customer communication to ensure high service standards, improving transport schedules, analyzing performance to identify efficiency gains and cost reductions, and supporting the development of new business opportunities in the European intermodal market.

As a Track and Trace Specialist, I monitored and ensured the timely and efficient handling of shipments from pickup locations—mainly ports and warehouses—and tracked their movement during internal distribution within the United States. I used advanced tracking systems and GPS tools to receive real-time updates, enabling fast operational decisions while meeting customer requirements and regulatory standards.

My responsibilities included proactive communication with carriers and customers to anticipate and resolve delays, managing incidents to ensure quick solutions to any deviation in the transport plan, and analyzing transportation data to identify trends and propose logistical improvements. I optimized communication with drivers by replacing phone-call updates with a text-message system, significantly improving information accuracy, efficiency, and driver safety.

As a Customs Analyst, I gained experience preparing import and export declarations, managing import registrations, submitting applications to regulatory entities, and handling foreign trade documentation. I worked with systems such as Siglo XXI, VUCE, Muisca, Open Comex, and I Business.

My responsibilities included ensuring compliance with customs regulations, maintaining updated records in foreign trade systems, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners to support an efficient logistics chain. I began as an intern and grew to Junior and later Senior Customs Analyst. I contributed to implementing the supply chain for Rockwell Inc. in new cities, optimizing logistics processes to reduce customs expenses and delivery times, supporting the company's expansion and improving customer satisfaction.
