Seema Iyer

London born, Writer, creative and comedian with 8 years experience writing for mobile gaming and a background in Literature and Creative Writing. Previous game credits include Love Island the Game, June’s Journey and Netflix Shadow & Bone.

Experienced with leading writers room, managing a team, communicating with both external and internal stakeholders, meeting deadlines for weekly deliverables. I worked most closely with Art and Design to insure a high quality final product and improve team processes.

Game writing has included creating documentation such as creating and maintaining a narrative Bible, story arcs, character and art briefs as well as dialogue and scripted content. As a queer PoC writer, inclusivity is at the heart of plot and story development so all content reaches a wider audience and is more representative of the world we live in.

In my personal time I write comedy sketches that have been performed live and also perform stand up in Berlin. I also write prose I’m currently working on a collection of short stories.
