Julia is a director, writer, photographer and editor based in Berlin.
Julia cultivated a diverse background during her apprenticeship as a video and sound designer and working at VICE, Instant Waves and Polly Films. This allows her the flexibility to wear many hats when completing projects alone or taking on any role when part of a larger team.
Julia is interested in stories of being othered from a queer and feminist lens.
Stylistically, both in her film and photography projects, Julia loves playing with light, shadows, and lines.
