Hardware startups and engineering teams often need someone who can handle design, simulation, and actual fabrication in one place - without coordinating three different vendors. That's what I do.
I'm a mechanical engineer (B.Sc., M.Sc. Aerospace, finishing September 2026) with experience at Airbus Operations (Wing Movables, comparative study SimSolid vs. CATIA for structural analysis) and at the DLR Institute of Materials Physics in Space, where I worked on vacuum melting facilities, a fully integrated butterfly vacuum valve, and umbilical protection hardware for the MAPHEUS sounding rocket.
Through my company in Bremen, I run a fully equipped workshop with a CNC mill (1500×1500 mm), 100 W CO₂ laser cutter, and 3D printers (FFF, SLA, SLS). That means I don't just design - I can deliver functional prototypes or small batches directly.

    Five-month placement in the institute's design and development department, contributing to ground-based and microgravity experiment hardware for materials physics research.

    • Planned, developed, and implemented the modernisation of a vacuum cold-crucible melting facility
    • Developed a novel umbilical protection mechanism for the MAPHEUS sounding rocket, including CFD flow simulation
    • Designed a self-contained, highly integrated butterfly vacuum valve (hardware and embedded software) for the X-RISE radiography experiment in microgravity
