Giulia Caleca

I'm a passionate Product Designer based in Berlin, Germany. I have 4+ years of experience, mainly in the Tech industry, with a proven track of record in successfully developing end-to-end complex technical products in fast-paced environments, from start-ups to scale-ups. My experience is not only limited to executing user experience design and research tasks alongside the entire product design process, but it extends also to establishing such processes where they were not yet existing, managing the Design Ops. My creative and human-centric mindset as well as my business sense are crucial to satisfying customers and stakeholders.

I’m very comfortable working at the intersection between business, technology and user, as I am truly passionate about crafting human-centric experiences that bring users meaning as well as joy. In fact, while closely collaborating with product managers and software engineers, leveraging business and technical requirements, I believe my role is to craft experiences that go above and beyond the users’ needs. I have a solid history of collaborating with cross-functional teams including but not limited to design, product, sales, quality assurance, and customer service.

Over the years, I had the chance of leading small teams of designers whilst actively working on designing human-centric products for both mobile and web applications, across multiple platforms. Additionally, I am highly skilled in conducting user experience research with real users, adopting both quantitative and qualitative data collection by means of surveys, interviews, A/B testing, usability testing, co-creation workshops.

But most importantly, I always aim at applying my skills and professional expertise to ensure users and customers have only the best experiences with the products or services they interact with. I believe design can play a crucial role in positive change and I want to be a contributor to that.
