At the start of my freelance career I have been designing for The Gentle Pit remotely while living in Germany. In this roll I am responsible for product and branding cohesion. I develop mood boards that represent the trends and colors for each season and create a small collection of products that represents the brand and the customers preference. I work along side the owner by mocking up visuals of her visions while sharing some of my own design ideas. The collections are strong and merchandise well together creating a impactful online presence.

My professional background as a fashion designer at Apex Global Brands for eight years has prepared me for the pressure and fast-paced environment expected in the fashion industry. In this roll I was responsible for the boys apparel devision designing full seasonal collections for 4 different brands; Cherokee, Tony Hawk, Point cove, and George for Walmart China. Between all of these brands I have received experience performing trend research and implementing the latest trends that were relevant to each of my consumers. I was involved in tracking progressions in lab dips, art work quality, as well as working along side our technical department, helping with apparel fittings and accuracy in garment construction.
