CareerFoundry offers online learners the chance to kick-start or advance their tech careers and supports students in finding a job that matches their professional goals. Tutors use their deep subject matter expertise to answer day to day student questions, ensure fundamental understanding of the course curriculum, and collaborate closely with the senior mentor team. My role as a UI Design Tutor includes: Identifying individual student needs and strategizing on how to close specific skill gaps by suggesting supplementary learning materials for areas where students may be struggling. Evaluating student work and giving actionable suggestions to improve the quality of student submissions and portfolio projects. Working closely with mentors to provide guidance and advice to students on creating an industry-ready portfolio of project work in line with current standards and best practices.

The CareerFoundry Instructor Advisory Board consists of a selection of freelance instructors working in the fields of UX Design, UI Design, Web Development, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing and Product Management. Board members are selected based on outstanding performance and excellent student feedback. The board closely collaborates with the team at CareerFoundry to support them in their decision-making processes and projects that enhance the student and instructor experiences. The role involves: Taking part in interviews and feedback sessions Advising about course structure and curriculum updates Testing new platform features and functions Giving expert insights into current industry trends and tools
