1. Ensure smooth financial operations in the Middle-East region: this includes organizing, performing, and monitoring all accounting tasks for the subsidiary Roland Berger Saudi Arabia, as well as creating, analyzing, optimizing, and coordinating financial and accounting processes:

a. Performing day-to-day accounting activities including accounts receivables, accounts payables, general ledger, accruals and deferrals, daily bank transactions and postings, and processing payment transactions

b. Performing intercompany settlements

c. In cooperation with an external tax consultancy, responsibility for payroll accounting

d. Processing of tax-relevant issues for the documentation of transactions, preparation, and submission of VAT, withholding tax returns as well as the annual corporate tax return in cooperation with our tax consultant Rödl.

SAP ByD software is used for the preparation of financial statements.

2. responsibility for the entire "Order to Cash" process along the project life cycle from project costing and evaluation, to the preparation of the "Opportunity", "Sales Quote", "Sales Order", the "Project Planning", "Intercompany Purchase Order", to the preparation of the outgoing invoices for consulting services to the end customer. The Order-To-Cash process is performed using SAP ByD software.

3. independently preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IAS/IFRS for SMEs, HBG, and relevant group guidelines and standards using SAP ByD, as well as contributing to the audit report.

4. commenting on the results of the financial statements, analyzing deviations, and initiating countermeasures

5. responsibility for the preparation of targeted reporting, financial analysis, and forecasts for management and for the various departments, as well as contributing to budget planning and forecasts.

6. participation in cross-functional projects e.g., the spin-off, SAP ByD implementation, and participation in the implementation of IFRS 15 "Revenue from Contracts with Customers".

- Driving several Project Management tasks enabling METRO’s Digital Transformation: ongoing optimizations and simplifications in the finance areas together with Corporate Controlling/Accounting, MCC-Countries, Business Units

- Creation of decision papers and business cases to PMO, Management- and Supervisory Boards

- Leading the subproject Internal Control Finance for LUCA together with Process Excellence, Group Governance, Internal Audit and SSC.

- Supporting 30 reporting units in matters of data collection, data quality assurance and acting as sparring partner to auditors, actuaries, tax-experts, corporate controllers

- Consolidation of financial reporting according to IFRS as well as Accounting-support for M&A-projects

- Recognition and Measurement of pension provisions and Net Working Capital

- Financial Reporting to Management and Supervisory Board
