I help medical device companies build and accelerate their EMEA commercial presence — from market entry strategy and distributor enablement to congress campaigns and competitive positioning.

With two years in EMEA product marketing at GUNZE International Europe, I launched two surgical device lines across 6+ markets from zero — including market entry into Spain and the UK. I know what it takes to bring a surgical product to a new market: distributor contract negotiation, sales team training, surgeon engagement at international congresses, and MDR compliance coordination.

Two years of direct surgeon engagement — through congress demonstrations, clinical training, and KOL relationship building — means I understand how to communicate product value in a clinical context, not just a commercial one.
I work in German, English, and Japanese (JLPT N1), and have served as the primary bilingual bridge between a Japanese HQ and a European commercial operation.     – Engaged directly with vascular surgeons through Pelnac's chronic wound management and critical limb ischaemia indications — gaining first-hand understanding of their clinical priorities, with particular exposure in Italy. – Negotiated exclusive territory distributor contracts across EMEA — setting pricing terms and minimum sales requirements as conditions for maintaining exclusivity. – At ESTS 2023, a personal contact with a Swiss thoracic surgeon led to a Neoveil trial — and motivated our French distributor to formally enter the Swiss market.
