Christian Haase

I oversee the UX/UI team of 22 people, including Designers, UX Researchers, and external associates, reporting directly to the CPO. Mentoring the team in hypothesis-driven design, product discovery, and customer journey mapping while facilitating the integration of UX/UI with Product Development, Analytics, and Frontend Development are some of my key responsibilities. The leadership is characterized by a focus on value creation, an outcome driven approach, and a commitment to improving the customer experience.

As part of the Leadership Team I am empowering Product Owners to drive the Product Development of the Catalog Area. This is done by a conscious effort of servant leadership and coaching in agile methodologies. The Catalog Area is built by 8 cross functional product teams in multiple geographical locations throughout Europe. The team's responsibilities are spanning from the Homepage, the Product Detail Pages over Search Result pages to the mobile Apps. Together we are developing and improving the Shop Software and the UI/UX Experience. We are maintaining 60 shops all over Europe, combining the two brands zooplus and bitiba. In total they process more than 200.000 orders per day and make up for an overall yearly revenue of 2.2 Billion Euro (Fiscal year 2020).
