Helping the Switchboard team develop the Backend side of their new API Marketplace Azure / dotnet microservices / Azure Devops / ArgoCD / Kubernetes / NATS / PostgreSQL / Terraform

Architected and developed the WBIF-MIS system for the West Balkans Investment Framework organization (https://wbif.eu/). The WBIF focuses on key sectors of the Western Balkan economies including energy, environment, transport, social and private sector development. The Framework awards, based on competitive procedures, grants for infrastructure project preparation activities as well as for investments. The WBIF-MIS is a web based application used by the WBIF and all other interested parties (countries, international financial institutions, others) to apply for, screen and approve the grants. The web application is an Azure hosted ASP.Net Core application using a host of Azure services (SqlServer, Blobs, Application Insights, Redis Cache). It started as .net 4.7.2 application and was migrated first to .net core 3.1 and onwards to 5 and 6.

Architected and lead the 5-man development team for an Azure hosted, massively scalable, polyglot data retrieval platform for collecting, analyzing and organizing official announcements issued by public companies and other entities. The platform was built to run in Kubernetes and leverage a host of Azure hosted services (Service Bus, PostgreSQL, Blobs, Application Insights, SignalR, Cognitive Services, ElasticSearch). The platform consists of a constellation of event-driven microservices (.NET core / NodeJS / Python) and an Electrton backoffice desktop tool. Application lifecycle management was done via Azure Devops (source control, backlog & sprints / CICD / NuGet feeds).
