I’m Anna, and I help companies navigate the messy landscape of data and product analytics!
In the past 5+ years, I’ve worked for a number of digital startups and scaleups as one of the first joiners of the data department. This gave me a lot of exposure to a wide range of problems, from defining activation for a B2B SaaS product to choosing the right data infrastructure for a B2C online learning platform.
I have helped product, marketing, and strategy teams to frame their business questions to be answered with data, translated these into clear requirements for engineering teams, and as a result provided the necessary visibility on how the business is doing through clear metrics and data-driven frameworks for decision making.
I am passionate about education and I love to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand way. I will avoid throwing meaningless data lingo your way just to make myself look smart. I also stick to a “no BS” approach in my work: my main driver is to set you up for success, not to build you a Tesla when all you need is a bicycle right now. And I definitely like to approach any challenges with a can-do attitude and a nerdy joke.

Working closely with Anya for over a year has been the highlight of my experience at SuperDataScience (an e-learning platform for aspiring data scientists). Behind her “Data Analyst” job title hides a true jack of all trades that has had a massive impact on product strategy and learning curriculum (leaning on her previous experiences in both of these areas)—on top of shaping the data strategy of the company from the ground up.
She designed and built our whole data infrastructure—both technically (tools) and conceptually (metrics, funnels, frameworks)—in a highly collaborative way, making sure to include all perspectives and stakeholders and educating us on best practices throughout the process.
As a product manager, I couldn’t ask for a better sparring partner. She has been enthusiastically and proactively involved in user research, design sprints, roadmapping sessions, and product experimentation—bringing not only her data expertise, but an orientation to measurable outcomes and a pragmatic approach that got us unstuck several times. She definitely ventured way beyond what was required in her job description for the sake of our users.
Finally, as the skilled data educator she is, I’ve seen her present technical information to different audiences with brevity, precision, and simplicity. Working with her was an accelerated course in data-informed decision making, for which I will always be grateful.
I couldn’t recommend Anya highly enough—not only as a catalyst of data culture and practices, but as an overall fun, supportive, and inspiring colleague to work (and grow) with on a human level.
